Built In’s Best Places to Work
January 25, 2020
Built in NYC has named Work & Co one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New York City in 2020.
The company was named to the list alongside Spotify, Bloomberg, and Meetup.com, as well as Work & Co clients such as Etsy and Haven Life. As part of the feature, Work & Co was additionally cited as one of the Best Mid Sized Companies, one of the Best Paying Companies, and one of the Companies with the Best Benefits.
“These companies have become part of our mission because they stand for more than just the work they’re doing,” said Maria Christopoulos Katris, CEO and Co-Founder of Built In. “They stand for their people and purpose.”
Founded in 2011, Built In is dedicated to helping tech professionals expand their networks, stay on top of news and trends, and carve out futures at companies they believe in. The Best Places to Work honor takes into account employee environment, benefits, perks and compensation.
Said Oliver Dore, Technology Partner at Work & Co. “As we grow our technology team, we balance depth in areas like quality assurance, data science, web development and others with a more generalist engineering mindset that isn’t about channel, but ensures that skills can be leveraged across web, mobile, API, CMS development, and emerging platforms. Our tech team members also benefit from collaborating closely with other disciplines that are required to make and ship a great product—designers, product management, strategy, and of course, our clients.”
He added: “Being recognized as a top workplace is particularly meaningful for us because we’re committed not only to hiring the industry’s top talent—but elevating them and helping to guide their careers long-term too.”
