Oliver Dore Promoted to Associate Partner

Work & Co has elevated Oliver Dore to Associate Partner, a new leadership role at Work & Co. He previously was a Director of Technology.

“Across projects such as Facebook, Virgin America, and Aldo, Oliver’s demonstrated a unique ability to push great design forward with unparalleled functionality,” said Tiago Luchini, Partner of Technology. “He’s got an incredible eye for detail, and is masterful at dealing with ambiguity and overcoming technical challenges. Oliver’s influence is evident in many of our developers’ ability to solve problems.”

Dore was one of Work & Co’s first employees, joining the company four years ago. A front-end developer by background, the Manchester, U.K. native spent the early part of his career on complex projects for clients such as HBO, Bloomberg and the United Nations.

Said Dore: “Ensuring that Work & Co continually embraces digital design and high quality-engineering in equal measure—that really energizes me. We’ve worked hard to build a world-class team of technologists with backgrounds ranging from hard-core data scientists to self-taught coders. I’m committed to ensuring we apply their valuable experience to all client projects.”

Beyond staying hands-on with a variety of client projects, Dore will be responsible for talent recruitment, development and mentorship across Work & Co’s offices. He’ll also continue to build the company’s presence within the tech community via meetups and open source initiatives.

Dore marks the third team member to be promoted into the partnership ranks since Work & Co’s inception in 2013.
