Work & Co Receives Four Webby Nominations
April 17, 2017
The internet’s highest honor has nominated four of Work & Co’s projects for Webby Awards this year. The distinction goes to our work with Oscar, Virgin America, and Fast Company. Both Oscar and Virgin America have been recognized as best practice on the web. Virgin America’s apps are in the running for best visual design for mobile, and the chatbot we developed with Fast Company has been recognized in the mobile events category. Voting for the People’s Voice Awards is open until April 20, 2017.
OSCAR – BEST PRACTICES
The insurance company putting people back at the center of healthcare required a website that was equally people-first. The new hioscar.com reflect’s Oscar’s fun and simplified approach while simultaneously educating and informing people about healthcare and insurance policies. From the fast and friendly quote tool to a brand new content center, the new site is focused on making health insurance accessible and clear.
VIRGIN AMERICA – BEST PRACTICES
Who says airline websites are too complex to be responsive? The new site experience, anchored by a single-page booking flow, has been named one of the most impressive industry evolutions and has increased conversion by over 10%.
VIRGIN AMERICA’S NEW APP – BEST VISUAL DESIGN
We took no shortcuts in creating a native app experience that is both faster and more delightful—qualities that Virgin America’s customers have come to expect from the airline’s digital channels. Within hours of launching, Virgin America’s apps were the #1 featured products on both the App Store and Google Play.
FAST COMPANY CHATBOT – MOBILE EVENTS
Vote for the Fast Company chatbot
With events running in over 100 venues, the Fast Company Innovation Festival needed a interface that would be more responsive and fun to use than searching a website. Launching Fast Company’s first chatbot, we created an engaging companion for answering common questions like when the next session is and how to get there.
