Work & Co Earns 15 Fast Company Awards
September 16, 2022
Fast Company released its 2022 Innovation by Design Awards, and Work & Co earned multiple honors for digital products the company strategized, designed, and developed.
Additionally, Work & Co itself was named to the “Design Company of the Year” list.
The annual awards show spotlights businesses that are solving the most pressing global problems —and anticipating the biggest areas that need solutions in the future as well. Entries are judged by Fast Company editors and external jurors based on what they call the key ingredients of innovation: functionality, originality, beauty, sustainability, user insight, cultural impact, and business impact.
Work & Co projects that earned recognition are:
- Givenchy.com, the e-commerce site the global luxury brand launched earlier this year, was named a finalist in the Retail and Fashion and Beauty categories.
- Giving Gap’s database and searchable site of nearly 1,000 Black nonprofits was named a finalist in the Social Justice, Best Design North America, and General Excellence categories, and is also an honoree in the Impact and Branding categories.
- Lennar’s new digital tools and experiences netted its honoree status in the General Excellence, Best Design North America, and Home categories.
- Breastcancer.org was named a finalist in the Impact and Health categories, is an honoree in the General Excellence category, and it is the winner of the Best Design North America category.
Additionally, the Diversity in Design Collaborative, an initiative that MillerKnoll spearheaded —and Work & Co was a founding member in— was the overall winner for General Excellence in 2022.
The 2022 edition of the Innovation by Design franchise marks the sixth consecutive year Work & Co has netted honors in this issue. Last year, our projects that made the list included: the MTA Live Map, IKEA’s design system Skapa, the initial launch of Gatorade Gx, and our Copenhagen office, designed in conjunction with Aspekt Office.
