Camicado Invests in Digital Channels with Launch of New E-Commerce Experience

Camicado, Brazil’s largest chain specializing in homeware and decor, has relaunched its e-commerce platform delivering a comprehensive digital shopping experience for shoppers.
As part of Brazil’s esteemed Lojas Renner group —the largest retail group in the country— Camicado caters to a vast audience throughout Brazil. The relaunch comes after a yearlong relationship with Work & Co, which led design concepting, detailed design, and digital strategy on the project. The team collaborated closely with Camicado’s in-house team to ensure a seamless rollout and implementation strategy.
New features of Camicado’s site include:
- Personalized Content: The website tailors content to each customer's preferences, creating an increasingly special and personalized experience with every purchase journey.
- Practical Inspiration: Preferences go beyond purchase suggestions, providing practical and useful tips on product usage, unlocking new inspiration.
- Exploring Passions: Browse by passions, hobbies, and classic party themes as the site allows customers to fully embrace special moments.
- Enhanced Filtering: Easily discover what you're looking for through intelligent and varied filter options, including themes, departments, environments, and more.
- Streamlined Interface Development: A new front-end code component library allowed for integrating pre-built components and a faster and smoother implementation of the site.
“When exploring the new website, customers will be immersed in an experience that closely resembles stepping into Camicado’s physical stores,” said Luciano Pouzada, Design Director at Work & Co, noting that “the goal was to extend online the ambiance and warmth of the in-store environment, creating a seamless transition for shoppers.” He added: “With the freedom to browse products organized by brands, categories, exclusive partnerships, or even by special occasions, customers can easily navigate and discover the perfect items. The abundance of options throughout their shopping journey enriches and enhances the overall customer experience, ensuring a delightful and fulfilling shopping experience.”
The evolution of the website is an integral part of Camicado's omnichannel strategy, aiming to increase its segment of e-commerce customers.
