See the Steve Jobs Archive’s Newest Exhibit
July 19, 2024
The Steve Jobs Archive announces the launch of its newest digital exhibit called The Objects of Our Life, which features exclusive footage of a talk Steve gave at the International Design Conference in Aspen back in 1983.
The speech touches on his views on the evolution of personal computers and predicts the industry’s future —including early thoughts on artificial intelligence. In addition, the exhibit is accompanied by an in-depth story by the Archive.
The Steve Jobs Archive launched in 2022. Its mission is to offer people the tools and opportunities to make their own contribution in the world, and to build programs, fellowships, collections, and partnerships that reflect Steve’s values and carry his sense of possibility forward. The Archive sponsors a fellowship for young people working at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts and has published a book: Make Something Wonderful: Steve Jobs in his own words, a curated collection of speeches, interviews, and correspondence.
As part of a multi-year collaboration, Work & Co has been leading design and development for the platform. The brand identity and custom typeface are by LoveFrom, the creative collective co-founded by Jony Ive.
